My 6 Tips for Scoring Disinfectants & Toilet Paper Online

Need Disinfectant wipes? Bleach? Toilet Paper and Sanitizer? We got ya! Check out my tips below on how you can score some sanitizer and disinfectant shipped right to your door.

1. Fill Your Shopping Cart NOW

You found your items online – but are put off by the $5 shipping cost! Don’t attempt to fill your cart quickly – you will fail! Many online retailers will give you free shipping if you spend a minimum amount. WalmartTarget, and Amazon will give you free shipping if your cart is at a minimum of $35 worth of merchandise. Get your carts filled up NOW so you can check out in a breeze. The key here is don’t wait until you see these hot items in-stock to fill your cart with other items in an attempt to get free shipping – the sanitizer and wipes WILL sell out while you spend time looking to fill your cart. Sign up for Amazon Prime free 30-day trial so you don’t even need to worry about shipping costs at all. Free 30-day MembershipFree 6 month Membership for Students or 54% off Prime Membership for those who Qualify

2. Add your payment to your accounts NOW

Login to Amazon, Walmart, Target, and your warehouse store websites right now and save your payment methods. When the time is running out to purchase these hot items you’ll be thankful you didn’t have to waste time entering and confirming your credit card information. Every second count!

3. Learn the Zipcode Hack

Change your zip code on the menu when searching to reveal stock in other locations. Secure your items in your shopping cart and you can change the shipping address at checkout. This has worked particularly well with Walmart. Zipcodes 11211, 60477, and 30003 have routinely shown sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes in stock over the past 2 weeks. The stock comes and goes – don’t give up and check other zip codes.

Key Links to Keep Checking:

Walmart Disinfectants Disinfectant Wipes & Soaps & Toilet Paper
Amazon Disinfectant & Sanitizer
Target Disinfectants & Sanitzier

4. Seek Alternate Sources & Brands

Look beyond the big box store websites. Dollar GeneralDollar TreeFive BelowHome Depot, and Staples (free shipping & Lots of TP and paper towels!) are other websites with cleaning products ready to ship. Other small online retailers may also have stock with off brands from smaller companies. CDC recommends 60% of alcohol in products to be effective in killing Covid19 Coronavirus. Check off brands (store brand) like Great Value (Walmart) or lesser-known brands like ArtNaturals (in stock!), Microban & Bona (in stock!).

5. Refresh the Page

I can’t tell you how many times an item has gone out of stock in the middle of checkout – you NEED to refresh, refresh, refresh until you succeed! If I would have given up every time it said out of stock I would have NEVER been successful ordering toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes (check out my picture above!). Stock comes and goes. Just last week we posted about Lysol wipes on Walmart’s website. It went in and out of stock the entire day – a LOT of people scored the Lysol wipes, but also a lot of people also gave up too fast!

6. Check Mysavings.com & our Facebook and Instagram Daily

If you’re not already checking our website several times per day. We post it here as soon as we see these hot items in stock. We then post on Facebook and Instagram. Be sure you are following our social media pages! Make sure to change your settings for our MySavings Facebook Page to “see first” at the top of our FB page so you never miss out!

Good Luck & Stay Safe & Healthy!!

The U.S. is Sending You $1,200 Cash – Stimulus Bill Explained

How much will you get and when? The Biggest economic relief package in modern U.S. history is Explained.

Congress passed a historic $2 trillion stimulus bill to help address the growing economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Americans can expect direct deposit cash payments directly to their bank accounts within the next three weeks. Most individuals can expect $1,200 per adult and $500 per child.

Make less than $75,000 per year?

If you make $75,000 or less as an individual or less than $150,000 a year as a couple you will get money. Individuals are eligible for up to $1,200 and couples would receive up to $2,400 — plus $500 per child. A family of four (2 adults 2 kids) can expect $3,400. There is a simple calculator here that shows what you will get (it is not official though, waiting on the US Treasury to release one on their website).

Make MORE than $75,000 per year?

The amount would then be reduced by $5 for every additional $100 of adjusted gross income, and those making more than $99,000 would not receive anything. The income thresholds are doubled for married couples.

How do they know my income?

Your Income is based on 2019 or 2018 tax returns (whichever you did last).

How do they know where to send my money?

The IRS will send you a direct deposit to your bank account that you have on file with the IRS for your tax payments or refunds. If you don’t have a bank account on file they will mail you a check!

When can I expect the money?

The White House has said they hope to begin distributing cash quickly. Most Americans will be receiving their money by April 15th!

Do you have a student loan? See if your loan interest fees have been waived!

Student Loan Interest Fees Waived - What You Need to Know

Student Loan Interest Fees Waived – What You Need to Know

In an effort to help alleviate economic hardships brought on by the spread of the Coronavirus, interest on federal student loans have been waived. This will last at least 60 days, starting from March 13, 2020. Here’s what you need to know about how it will work.

Which Loans Qualify

All federal student loans, which include Direct Stafford loans (subsidized and unsubsidized), Direct Parent and Graduate PLUS loans, and Direct Consolidation loans. To figure out if your loans qualify, the Institute recommends logging into http://www.studentaid.gov and checking to see which lender is listed. If the lender is the Department of Education, those loans qualify.

How to Sign Up

It will be automatic for borrowers, loan servicers, the companies that manage student loan repayments for the government, will waive any interest that has accrued since March 13.

Monthly Bills Will Stay the Same

Loan servicers have clarified that the amount borrowers owe each month will not change. All of the payments will go toward the principal, not interest. Paying the principal quicker will shorten the loan term. If you have any previous unpaid interest on your account, your payments will go to that before the principal amount.

Can’t Afford Monthly Payment?

For quick relief, you can put your loans in forbearance, which is more attractive now with the interest waiver. U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos said any borrower who asks for forbearance from their servicer will get one for a two-month period.

For longer-term relief, enroll in an income-driven repayment plan that sets your monthly payments based on how much you’re earning. This is better than that forbearance or deferment, because your payments will count toward loan forgiveness (available after 20 years of payments). In forbearance or deferment, you’re not making any progress, even if your loans aren’t currently growing due to the interest waiver.

What to do if Working Toward Public Service Loan Forgiveness

Borrowers who are aiming to get forgiveness through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program should not put their loans on forbearance if they can afford to keep paying. That way they can still make progress toward their 120 months of payments to qualify for the program. If you need to recalculate your payments to keep them affordable, you can do that immediately online at studentaid.gov.

Relief on Private Loans

Most private lenders do offer some temporary relief for people experiencing economic hardship, but the policies are not as generous as those of the federal governments. Contact your lender and ask what flexibility they can provide.
