Top 3 Common Questions about Freebies Answered:

Why have I not received my samples yet?

We understand how frustrating it can be to fill in forms and it seems as if nothing arrives. Samples are shipped directly from the company offering the samples, many say to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. From my experience, some items may take longer to arrive due to the popularity of the offer and we, unfortunately, have no control over that. BUT Sometimes samples will arrive super fast (within 2 weeks) but this is the exception – not the rule! Hang in there and don’t give up. Keep filling in those forms and have a little patience and you’ll be rewarded with Free Samples in your mailbox every week we promise!

Are these samples really Free?

Yes, companies and brands want to get their products in consumers’ hands – what better way to do that than offer a free sample! MySavings.com posts about REAL samples from REAL companies. Our team signs up for these samples too and we look into and vet all offers before posting them on our site. We also post about sweepstakes, coupons and cheap deals you can score in-store and on Amazon.

What’s the catch? Will I be spammed?

Companies are hoping you love their sample and then purchase their full-priced products online or in-store – THAT’S the catch! Some free samples may require you to sign up for their brands’ email list – which may include updates from the brands, coupons and an alert when future samples are offered – so they aren’t always a bad thing! Very rarely do companies require you to provide a phone number unless it’s asked that you sign up for text alerts to get the freebie (Chipotle is big on this). With emails, you can always opt-out (look for a small link on the bottom of emails) or text “STOP” if you don’t wish to receive any more texts. Generally, it is not an issue – and we have been signing up for freebies for 12+ years.

smiley We want to know your favorite freebies and what are offers you want to see MORE of? Leave me a comment, thanks!

What You Don’t Know About Your iPhone Camera

Photography Super Bundle 2019

Hi Friends,

I love my DSLR, and I can create beautiful photos with it. But I don’t want to only capture the beautiful moments. I also want to remember all the crazy, dirty, exciting moments of motherhood, too. And truth be told, those moments are usually immortalized with my phone (since it’s always nearby). 😉

But I have to be super fast to catch my kids doing the unconsciously cute things they do. And I’ve come up with a few tricks to snap pictures quickly.

If you need to freeze the moments when your kids are getting along (why are those moments so rare sometimes?), start using these tips!

  1. Take photos with the volume buttons. Open your camera on your iPhone. Then you can take a photo with either the volume button or the regular button on the screen. I find it easier to use the volume buttons, depending on the angle I’m using to catch my kiddos.
  2. Use burst mode. If your kids have ever confiscated your phone temporarily, you’ve probably had 50 pictures of little baby toes or toys because they discovered burst mode. But burst mode is also great for you because you’re bound to catch that perfect expression with all those quick photos. Then you can pick and choose which one you like best.
  3. Lock your exposure and focus. For the best photos, you may want total control over focus and exposure – even if your two-legged subject moves. So locking your exposure and focal point is super easy and helps improve your photos. All you need to do is open your camera on your iPhone and hold your finger down on the area you want to be in focus. Once you see the yellow AE/AF Lock message, let up with your finger and start shooting photos.

If you’re serious about improving your photography, you can get a whole bunch of other tips inside the Photography Super Bundle, a collection of 21 eBooks, eCourses, and templates. to help you transform your photos from good to gorgeous. Just $37 for 6 days only.

What I love about this is, you’ll have everything you need to take better photos in one place (even edit and organize them!) – without Googling or spending a ton of money on different eCourses and eBooks. Plus, you’ll be able to move through the resources at your pace. When you’re ready to learn something new, you’ll have this library of photography training at your fingertips.

Find everything you need to improve your photography inside the Photography Super Bundle
