My car insurance took over $70 off my monthly payments as a Covid-19 discount, did yours?

Many car insurance companies are giving policyholders HUGE discounts due to driving less because of the pandemic. Insurance companies like State Farm is discounting $2 Billion dollars worth. My monthly payments went down over 50% off – a whopping $70 less then what I normally pay. State Farm calls their discount a “Good Neighbor Relief Program (COVID-19)“.  These discounts are being given since many of us are driving less due to mandated shutdowns. They state 11% savings is average but can go up to 50%.

Allstate, American Family, Geico, Progressive, State Farm, Erie, USAA are the big ones, but even the smaller insurance companies may be helping out their policyholders. Every Policy, Company, and State and region will differ in the discounts.
